Amber Jiménez is an artist, designer, and educator based in New York City. Her work explores traditional craft-making and its profound influence on all forms of creative practice—and on the maker themselves. Amber holds a BFA in Fashion Design and has been working in the fashion industry since 2005. Her experience spans a wide range of disciplines, including millinery, women's fashion design both in the U.S. and abroad, print design, embroidery, and handcrafted ceramic tableware.

As an educator, Amber is deeply passionate about teaching as a means of exploring the therapeutic and problem-solving potential of craft and design. Her practice is rooted in the belief that working with one’s hands fosters not only creativity but also connection, reflection, and resilience.
