1-on-1 Business Assistance

We provide no-cost access to a roster of expert Advisory Business Counselors to help Queens entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. Whether you need somebody to guide you through planning and registering your new business, or if you're an existing business owner looking for a hand with government certifications, marketing strategy, or event tax advice, we have somebody who can help you.

There's no catch – each appointment is virtual, one-on-one support, and this service is completely free to Queens business leaders. Advisory business counselors are available with fluency in multiple languages, and can meet with entrepreneurs up to four times to help you along your business journey.

Business Education

Starting and running a business can be confusing and difficult – but you don't have to go it alone. To help navigate this journey, we offer a rotating calendar of no-cost business education communities, courses, and workshops throughout the year. These engaging programs, taught by subject-matter experts, cover everything you need to know.

Entrepreneur Assistance Center

Our Entrepreneur Assistance Center, a program funded by New York State, offers new and existing business owners hands-on training, business plan support, an active alumni network, and other assistance.

Women's Business Center

Our Queens Women's Business Center, a program funded by the Small Business Administration, helps women start and grow businesses through individual counseling, specialized workshops, and networking opportunities.

Home  Improvement Contractor Training

This training is an three-day online course designed to help contractors obtain their required NYC Department of Consumer Affairs licenses.
