The Entrepreneur Space
36-46 37th Street
Long Island City, NY 11101 United States

Our Entrepreneur Space, a food-and-business incubator, will turn nine years old in divine style with food, networking, and high spirits. Attendees to the anniversary bash will sample delicious products in the very place where they’re made, the E-Space. They will also get to meet the diverse makers (aka “foodpreneurs”), hear the stories behind their recipes, and check out the 12,500-sq.-ft. facility that features a fully equipped commercial kitchen, offices, and classrooms.

Multiple foodpreneurs will be there, offering everything from rice bowls to spicy sauces to toffee. This is the only night guests are allowed to visit the food incubator to sample and buy. Don’t miss out!

Admission is free. Upon arrival you will be able to enter a raffle to win a basket filled with local products.

About the Entrepreneur Space: Operated by the Queens Economic Development Corporation, the Entrepreneur Space officially opened on January 19, 2011. The 12,500-sq.-ft. hub features a fully equipped commercial kitchen, offices, and classrooms. To date, it’s helped more than 600 small businesses, generated more than $8 million in revenue, and created more than 120 jobs.

QEDC hosts the Queens Women's Business Center. QEDC encourages all women to participate in this and all other QEDC programs.

The Queens Women's Business Center is Funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Reasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disability if requested at least two weeks in advance.

This program is supported in part through funding from the office of the Queens Borough President.

As a non-profit, QEDC needs donations in order to keep serving our community. If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution, please click the button below.

The mission of the Queens Economic Development Corporation is to help small businesses.  In view of the Coronavirus, we are taking the following steps:

  • We have compiled a Resource Guide detailing programs to assist small businesses.  These include loans, grants and other aid available through Federal, State, City, and Private agencies. The Resource Guide can be accessed here. It is updated as we receive new information.
  • Assistance in filling out application and all other client services will be done remotely via telephone. To request an appointment, email info@queensny.org and you will be contacted within 24 hours.  Please know our office in Kew Gardens is closed.
  • The Entrepreneur Space Commercial Kitchen Incubator is fully operational and staff is taking additional steps to ensure that it is a safe environment for our clients. For more information, please call 718 392-0025.
  • The Queens Tourism Council is working with our cultural, recreational, restaurant and sporting communities to support them as best we can.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact us.  Be careful, help those who are vulnerable and wash your hands.

Queens Together

Fuel the Front Lines is an initiative of Acting Queens Borough President Sharon Lee, Queens Together, Queens Night Market and the QEDC to help to meet the needs of front line healthcare workers, other emergency responders, and Queens communities in need through partnerships with local independent restaurants and food businesses. We will fill the urgent need for nourishment while at the same time providing a lifeline to the small businesses that define our neighborhoods. Make your tax-deductible contribution and help us deliver good food made with love by workers in Queens, for people in Queens.
