Business counseling is crucial to the success of an emerging business.  As part of the license fee, businesses have access to one-on-one business counseling.  In partnership with the Queens Economic Development Corporation technical assistance providers, classes and workshops in areas such as finance, marketing, human resources and other pertinent topics are scheduled on a regular basis.  Some of these are no cost, while others are fee-based and open to the general public.  Networking opportunities are important venues to promote and learn about business opportunities.
