The Entrepreneurial Assistance Program

(EAP)

OPEN HOUSE

February 5, 2008

 Invest 5-weeks into The EAP Business Boot Camp and gain a lifetime of business success!

 

The course is February 19th - March 20th

all classes meet twice a week from 6pm -9pm

 

Upon the completion of the course you will have a business plan and will automatically qualify for a program where you can receive a loan for $1,500 to get your business started.

 

Course Fee $425

 

Includes one-on-one counseling and guest presentations from industry professionals:  entrepreneurs, consultants, accountants and lawyers

StartUP! Business Plan Competition

 

 Training Session 2

"Sales & Marketing" will be held on the following dates:

 

Monday, January 14th 6pm - 8pm

Wednesday, January 23rd 10:30am - 12:30pm

Saturday, January 26th 10:30am - 12:30pm

 

Call the office to register for the session you will be attending. 

 

This Training will assist entrepreneurs with developing their business model and sales and marketing plan, we will also discuss how to conduct market research at the Queens Public  Library

 

All sessions will be held at the Queens Library at

89-11 Merrick Boulevard in Jamaica, NY 11432


 

 QEDC Entrepreneurial Training Certificate Program

 

Through a series of workshops learn the practical information, tools, tips and strategies that will give you the confidence and competitive edge to start, grow and/or improve your business and develop a business plan that will put you on the track to success. 

 

You will learn about, identify, plan for and tackle critical issues facing you and your business such as cash flow, budgeting, marketing and sales strategies, technology, management, and personal financial planning .  It's all about the results!  The program  is aimed to prospective and current owners of small to medium sized businesses.

Women Mean Business

Incubator Program

 

Women owned Businesses are growing at a rate

Today's women desire connections with other women and they also want to help each other prosper and grow. The Women's Business Center at QEDC has put together an opportunity that will do just that.

 

We are hosting a series of 6- week women's incubators where women entrepreneurs can connect with other women entrepreneurs and collectively work in the process of building your businesses while learning key business strategies and sharing lessons learned. The first incubator will begin in March.  TRAININGS ARE CONDUCTED ON THE 4TH FLOOR. The entrance to the building is in the middle of the block on Queens Blvd. (between Union Turnpike and 82nd Avenue).  Remember to carry identification as you will have to present it upon entering our building
