The next course begins on September 16th

classes meet twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday)  from 6pm -9pm

 

Upon the completion of the course you will have a business plan and we will assist you with packaging your business for a loan or other capital raising opportunities.

Circle of Sisters

QEDC is planning to get a booth to feature our clients at the Circle of Sisters event on October 11th and 12th at the Jacob Javits Center.

Space Options:

10x10 booth 3 businesses - $500 each

10x10 booth 4 businesses - $375 each

10 x20 booth 4 businesses - $625 each

10 x20 booth 5 businesses - $500 each

 

We will decide on the size of the booth and number if participants based on the responses from people who are interested. We are participating in this event to make the marketing opportunity more affordable for our clients. We are not endorsing the event in anyway, you have to decide if this event is best suited for your company. Wharton's Black MBA Students Offer $17,500

The African American MBA Association (AAMBAA) of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania is running a New Venture Competition as part of the 35th annual Whitney M. Young, Jr. Memorial Conference being held in Philadelphia November 21st - November 22nd. The Deadline for Round 1 is Friday, September 19th, and the prize money for winners is $10,000. Women's Incubator Program

 

Today's women desire connections with other women and  want to help each other prosper and grow. The Women's Business Center at QEDC has put together an opportunity that will do just that.

 

We are hosting a series of 6- week women's incubators where women entrepreneurs can connect with other women entrepreneurs and collectively work in the process of building your businesses while learning key business strategies and sharing lessons learned.

Certificate Program

 

Through a series of workshops learn the practical information, tools, tips and strategies that will give you the confidence and competitive edge to start, grow and/or improve your business and develop a business plan that will put you on the track to success. 

 

You will learn about, identify, plan for and tackle critical issues facing you and your business such as cash flow, budgeting, marketing and sales strategies, technology, management, and personal financial planning .  It's all about the results!  The program  is aimed to prospective and current owners of small to medium sized businesses.

 

The workshops for the certificate includes:
