Important Dates to Remember Attendance at 3 out of 4 training classes are required by all applicants each class is offered at more than one time so that you may select one that works best with your schedule. Description of training classes::
December, 2008 Training I: Overview of The Business This Training will cover understanding of the business planning process, and will help you develop a business overview, industry analysis, target market and competitive analysis
January, 2009 Training II: Sales & Marketing This Training will assist entrepreneurs with developing their business model and sales and marketing plan, we will also discuss how to conduct market research at the Queens Public Business Library
February, 2009 Training III: Operations & Technology This training will help you to develop a feasible operations and technology plan for your enterprise. topics will also include the management team and a growth and exit strategy for the business
March, 2009 Training IV: Building & Understanding Financial Statements This training will help entrepreneurs better understand how to develop winning financial statements including the balance sheet, cash flow and sources and uses of funds. Financials are an essential part of the business and with them your business can grow.
