Enter the 3rd Annual Queens Business Plan CompetitionCompetition Overview The Queens Economic Development Corp in partnership with the Queens Flushing Public Library is proud to announce the 3rd Annual Queens StartUP! Business Plan Competition for Queens-based startup entrepreneurs with cash prizes totaling $29,000. (See Prize Info). The Queens StartUP! Business Plan Competition gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to strengthen their business knowledge, learn about business trends and gain insights about starting and growing a business, as well as an introduction to the vast resources at the Queens Borough Public Library.
Who Can Enter? If you are 18 years of age or older live in Queens, are a legal resident or US citizen, and wish to start a business in Queens, you are eligible. 'StartUP!" is a competition to help applicants start and grow a business.
How can I apply? All applicants must attend one (1) orientation session being held at the Queens Library at Flushing. The orientation will give you all the details about applying to StartUP! Applications to the competition will only be given out at the orientation sessions listed below. Applications to the competition are due December 3rd.
When do Orientation Sessions take place? Orientations at Queens Library Flushing start you off by giving you the basics of the competition. The orientation dates and times are listed below.
